Singapore Chapter Wraps Up a Dynamic Year

On December 3, the AsBAA Singapore Chapter gathered at WingsOverAsia for its year-end meeting, marking the close of an active and impactful year for the business aviation community.

The meeting provided a platform to review key operational challenges and ongoing advocacy efforts.  Members discussed issues such as airspace restrictions, night landing limitations, and maintenance constraints—critical topics for sustaining business aviation growth in the region. The Chapter reaffirmed its commitment to constructive engagement with regulators and airport authorities, a strategy that has already delivered meaningful improvements in operational flexibility.  Beyond operational matters, the Chapter also reflected on its community-building throughout the year.

Looking ahead, the Chapter is preparing for an even busier 2026, with plans for gatherings around the Singapore Air Show, continued regulatory engagement, and expanded Discovery Programs to strengthen the talent pipeline.

Chapter Chair Yeow Meng Ng and Co-Chair Winston Hoo summed up the spirit of the meeting:
“This year has been about collaboration and persistence. We’ve made progress by working together and engaging respectfully with stakeholders. As we move into 2026, our focus remains on advocacy, community, and creating opportunities for the next generation of aviation professionals.”

The evening concluded with dinner and cocktails, offering members a chance to network, celebrate achievements, and share ideas for the year ahead. The Singapore Chapter’s dedication and collaborative spirit remain key drivers of progress for business aviation in the region.
