Policy Updates

Aljoscha Subasinghe at Asia Flight Services has kindly provided an update on Myanmar DCA:

“Please note that Myanmar DCA has implemented the following required lead times for applications of overflight permits with immediate effect:

• All overflight permits must be applied at least 5 local working days in advance to apply as a normal permit
• With a lead time of 3 and 4 full local working days, the application can be considered, but approval is subject to consideration and additional fees might apply.
• With a lead time of less than 3 full local working days, it is not possible to apply and the Yangon FIR may not be overflown. 

This is just a temporary adjustment until further notice. Please take note and inform us of any required overflight permits as early as possible to avoid any effect on your operations.”
