Philippine Government Update
The Philippine government is slowly taking steps to open up the economy. Metro Manila is now under General Community Quarantine (GCQ) until July 15, 2020 while Region 3, which includes Subic and Clark, is under Modified GCQ (MGCQ). Under GCQ companies are allowed to operate at reduced capacity (50% workforce). While under MGCQ, companies can operate at full capacity but must enforce strict health protocols (i.e. social distancing, wearing of masks).
The following flights are currently allowed to operate by DOTr: Government and military flights, international repatriation flights, air ambulance and medical flights, flight check and weather mitigation flights, maintenance and utility flights, cargo/sweeper flights, emergency flights, and domestic flights coming to and from provinces and cities under GCQ are subject to required airport clearances and flight plan approvals, as may be applicable.
