Patrick Roa Appointed to AsBAA Board of Governors

AsBAA is pleased to announce that Philippines-based Patrick Roa, a veteran pilot and Captain has been appointed to the Association’s Board of Governors in the Philippines. The appointment was made following the Association’s recent commitment to revitalize the Philippines chapter as a key priority.

Commenting on his new role, Patrick Roa remarked, “It is with gratitude that I accept my nomination to join the Board of Governors of AsBAA and help give a voice to pilots and crew in the Association. We are facing challenging times and many flight crew often find themselves in the primary or support roles as non-medical frontliners that connect critical air links. As we move towards a path for exiting this pandemic, new challenges lie ahead that require new innovations to overcome or adapt on what will be the new normal for aviation.”

Zhendong Wu, Chairman of AsBAA added, “The primary goal of the Association is to reach the widest audience of industry groups and regulatory bodies to promote business and general aviation in Asia. Our Board of Governors brings a broad range of skills to AsBAA which ensures that we achieve the best for our industry. Patrick brings a unique dimension to that as a seasoned pilot in both commercial and general aviation alike. We are delighted to have Patrick on board.”
