Aviation Concepts Technical Services in the Philippines have generously provided us with an update on the current Covid-19 arrangement in Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila. We will continue to monitor the situation and update our readers as we learn of any developments.

The Philippine government is slowly taking steps to open up the economy. Metro Manila is now under General Community Quarantine (GCQ) until July 15, 2020 while Region 3, which includes Subic and Clark, is under Modified GCQ (MGCQ). AsBAA recently released a sustainability survey to find out more about industry attitudes and trends regarding green aviation. To help potentially widen the data pool from our participants’ answers, we have extended the survey’s closing date to 15 July. The survey will help AsBAA better understand its members’ opinions on this increasingly important topic.
