Celebrating Excellence and Honoring Pioneers of Flight
The Asian Business Aviation Association (AsBAA) hosted a dazzling evening of celebration and recognition at the Island Shangri-La in Hong Kong on 11 November 2023, marking the triumphant return of its highly-anticipated annual Icons of Aviation (IOA) awards gala. The event, which was last held in 2019 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, brought together over 200 distinguished guests from the Asian business aviation industry to celebrate excellence, innovation, and the contributions of pioneers who have shaped the industry's trajectory.
Under the captivating theme of "Pioneers of Flight," the gala paid homage to the visionary individuals who dared to push boundaries and transform the world of aviation. The evening was lively and fun, with exciting Latin dances and Ska music that made it an evening to remember for everyone.
In addition to the captivating entertainment, the gala served as a platform to recognize and honor the outstanding achievements of organizations and individuals within the Asian business aviation industry. Twelve prestigious awards were presented across a range of categories, acknowledging exceptional contributions to the industry.
