IBAC Releases Covid-19 Pandemic Update

AsBAA Board of Governor and IBAC Liaison Omar Hosari has shared with us this update from the IBAC team on the Covid-19 pandemic. Hosari remarked: “As you have noticed, it has been some time since you received a Covid Update. This has been intentional, as not a lot has resulted at ICAO despite the constant churn of work examining how best to recover from the pandemic and return to previous levels of operations. However, the imminent release of the next version of the ICAO CART Report presents an opportunity to set it in some context prior to its release early in the next session of the Council, which begins this Friday, 23 October.

Hosari reminds us that the report is dated 15 October and, while it is airline-focused, it offers an important view of the status of the air transport system.
