COVID-19 updates – Philippines (as of 19 May 2020)

Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) in Metro Manila will start on 16 May 2020.

Limited international commercial flights are allowed at Manila International Airport from 8 May to 10 Jun. Inbound International chartered flight at Manila airport are allowed on Monday and Thursday provided that clearances are secured from Department of Foreign Affairs and CAAP for slotting purposes.

All flights operations are temporarily restricted at Clark from 8 May to 10 Jun, 2020 except emergencies/cargo/air ambulance & medical supplies/government & military/weather mitigation and maintenance/utility flights.

All Cebu Pacific domestic and international flights remain cancelled from 16 to 31 May 2020. All Philippine Airlines domestic and international flights to and from Manila, Cebu and Clark will remain cancelled up to 31 May 2020.

Road transfer to/from Manila airport is feasible, each vehicle can accommodate one driver to bring/fetch one passenger at the airport, providing the passenger and driver carry a copy of passenger airline ticket as proof of conveyance at the checkpoint.

All foreigners are not allowed to enter the Philippines now. The exception is Filipino and foreigners with permanent visa and spouse/children of a Filipino citizen. All passengers arriving in the Philippines are required to undergo COVID-19 RT-PCR (SWAB) test and quarantine procedures in approved facilities while waiting the results of the tests.

Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB) only allows foreign flight crews with quick turnaround operations in the Philippines. The crew operating an aircraft into the Philippines with Commercial flight out and Commercial flight into the Philippines with an operating flight out of the Philippines are currently not allowed.
