Association Updates

Following an incredibly successful Asian Business Aviation Week 2022 in Singapore last month, the AsBAA Singapore chapter hosted its first physical chapter meeting last week after a two-year physical hiatus. Led by Chapter Head and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, James Jordan (Partner, HFW), the meeting venue was generously provided by AsBAA-member Jet Aviation (Asia Pacific) Pte. Ltd. at Seletar Airport.

The Singapore chapter meeting began with welcome remarks by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Jenny Lau, who reiterated AsBAA's commitment to the Southeast Asia committee. Among the more than a dozen member companies represented and in attendance at the chapter meeting, discussion topics that were raised included Open Skies policy, SAF, illegal charter, eVTOL and UAMs, revitalizing working relationships with CAAS, AsBAA Discovery internships, and more.

AsBAA is pleased to see a continued successful return to physical regional and chapter events in Singapore. The chapter has announced its next chapter meeting to be held on Thursday, 1 September 2022 at the Bombardier Aerospace Services Singapore Pte Ltd at Seletar Airport. We look forward to seeing you there!
