Further to the outbreak of COVID-19 and its effect on our industry, we write to let you know about some important resources and to offer support to you as our member.
Advocacy in times of crisis
AsBAA is working with global associations to collate information that can be submitted to governments and authorities to seek relief for the industry. This includes, but is not limited to, requests for reduced fees, relaxation of policies, tax and general financial support, support for humanitarian operations, and adjusted services and pricing to take into account the current crisis. To assist AsBAA in representing the industry at the government level, please complete the following survey by 10 April 2020. If you have additional comments, please do not hesitate to contact us directly by replying to this email, or please join your next chapter meeting.
COVID-19 information and resources
AsBAA shares information relating to COVID-19 in the AsBAA Digest every Tuesday. The information that we share relates to COVID-19 policies, advice, and content that we have collected from industry stakeholders. You can access an archive of the Digest here. As an AsBAA member, if you have resources or thought leadership content to share with the community via the AsBAA Digest, you are welcomed and encouraged to do so. If you wish to participate, please contact email@example.com.
AsBAA chapter meetings will take place digitally, using Zoom, until further notice. All members are welcomed and encouraged to participate in chapter meetings. A list of meetings can be found here.
Connect with the Board
The AsBAA Board will join Asian Sky Group’s Fleet Week on 22 April 2020. This digital event will include a Q&A session in which AsBAA members are welcomed and encouraged to ask questions to the Board. To register for the event, please click here.
