Icons of Aviation Awards

The Icons of Aviation Awards celebrates achievement across 12 key categories of business aviation, with a special lifetime achievement award, the Mike Davis Award. The first awards were held in 2015, in 2016 the awards were renamed, the Icons of Aviation. The 2016 winners can be seen here.

Our first Industry Awards Gala in 2015 was a great success all round, it was a sell-out event in which we celebrated the stars of the industry, and also gave back to the community in which we all operate. The 2016 Icons of Aviation was better than we could have ever hoped for – with over USD50k raised for Orbis and 300+ guests from our industry gathered in collaborative spirit. Thank you to all that sponsored, attended, and an supported the IoA, see you in 2017! Charlie Mularski

What Our Members Are Saying?

I was pleasantly surprised and in awe at the wonderful job the AsBAA team has accomplished in such a short space of time, it was a wonderful evening of acknowledging all that is great about our industry. The IOA Awards is quickly becoming the must attend social event of the year in Asia, very good networking opportunities, everyone was represented and all for a great charity cause in Orbis.

It’s an honour to be invited and spoke at the Icons of Aviation charity gala dinner this year. What better way to meet and greet our supporters from the aviation industry than in such an entertaining and enjoyable evening. The Star War theme was a blast. Thanks for the generosity of all the guests who donated to Orbis and thanks AsBAA for organising such a wonderful event Celia Yeung

A special thanks to the AsBAA team for this special honour, and also for staging the popular industry event —  the Icons of Aviation.  Events and activities such as these raise the profile of business aviation across Asia and also  to underline the importance and value of General Aviation with civil aviation agencies, government agencies, media and other key stakeholders.

We are thrilled that the Singapore Service Centre has been recognized by our customers, the members of AsBAA, for its continued outstanding performance,” “The facility’s success strengthens Bombardier’s expanding presence in the Asia Pacific region, providing operators around the world with high-quality maintenance support, including full interior capabilities, as well as access to the entire Bombardier Business Aircraft Service Centre network.
